Convenor of Disciplinary
Hi there, my name is Laurence and I am the Union Society's Convenor of the disciplinary committee for the year 2007-2008. It is my job to oversee the running of the disciplinary committee and the officer's performance review committee, which help to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our student members and staff.
Our Student's Union is a safe place for all of the students of Newcastle University. Unfortunately there are times when students become the victims of theft, harassment or assault by their fellow students. If this occurs within the Union building or University premises then it my job to investigate these matters and take action accordingly. It is also within my job description to ensure that all minor misdemeanours are dealt with fairly.

Your case will be treated with absolute confidence and we will advise you on the best course of action to take.
