Nightline
Nightline is the confidential listening and information service run for students by students. It runs every night of term between 8pm and 8am. The number to call is 0191 261 2905.
People phone for many reasons; to get numbers for cab firms and takeaway delivery services, or to ask about events around the universities. They phone to find out what time the library shuts, where their exam the next morning is being held or people phone for a chat or just want someone to listen to them.
We are always looking for new volunteers. We are looking for people who are understanding, empathetic and willing to listen. We provide full training and support.
