The National Minimum Wage (NMW) is a legal right which covers almost all workers in the UK.

If you think that you are being paid less than the NMW, then go to www.tiger.gov.uk where you'll find "wage reckoners" to work out if you are being underpaid and for help and advice. If you think your employer is not paying you correctly, please call into the Student Job Shop to see a member of staff, or alternatively, visit the Student Advice Centre at the Students' Union.
