Wireless access in the Students Union
Student areas in the Union Society where you see our "No Wires" posters are covered by the Univeristy Wireless network system known as "Magpie." This means that you can sit in one of our Bars and Cafes and work\surf while you eat and drink!
If you have a laptop with Wireless access then you can connect to the service, however there are a few things you need to do first.
Follow this link to configure your computer for access. Once you have configured your laptop you can take advantage of wireless hotspots all over the Campus!
You can also pick up a booklet from Union Society Reception.
