Society Committee Guide
Society training will be held on the 15th and the 29th september from 9-5. The president, secretary and treasurer MUST attend one of these sessions for training. For more information contact Immy Davies the activities officer
Society committee members know their society better than anyone, but if you are on a committee please use this section as a point of reference, to gain inspiration, to check dates and deadlines...really however you choose!PLEASE make sure you read the Student Societies Constitution (in 'The Guide'), it really, really is important, especially for all information about society grants.
Being a society officer is a great responsibility and also a great privilege. All decisions should be a balance between what will produce the most immediate success and what will benefit your society in the long term. You are accountable, not only to Societies Executive and Union Council, but most importantly to your members.
