► Activities & Volunteering
There’s always lots going on the Union and you can get involved. Throughout the year we have various balls and events such as RAG week where hundreds of volunteering students take to the streets to raise money for some worthwhile charities. If you’re interested in volunteering on a more regular basis you can speak to SCAN who’ll point you in the right direction. It’s a great way to meet people, give something to the community and gain valuable work experience.

If you don’t have the time to volunteer but would still like to try new things and meet new people then why not ‘Give it a Go’? We run a different activity every week of term time that’s either free or run at a massively reduced rate. Past activities have ranged from fencing, white water rafting, power kiting to yogo, thai chi and reiki for the more relaxed side of you! Speak to the Activities Development Co-ordinator for more info.
